Kenzo bootleg tee
When super cool New York brand Opening Ceremony’s founders took over Kenzo, they relaunched logo-mania of the 1990s. Looking through Kenzo’s archives they noted little tiger details in waistbands, bag linings or watch faces. At their AW13 show they made a sweater emblazoned with a tiger and the now notorious ‘K E N Z O’ typeface and wore it to take their bows at the end. When the sweaters hit their New York store, 2000 sold out in under 24 hours; logo-mania had begun, and rip-offs flooded the market. Look like you were down from the beginning with this 1990s bootleg tee, featuring that original typeface.
